JALALABAD: A high-level delegation from Uzbekistan led by Sohrob Abdurakhmanov has arrived in Nangarhar province to discuss expanding economic and trade cooperation with Afghanistan.
According to the Nangarhar governor’s media office, the delegation includes business representatives from various sectors and was warmly welcomed by officials from Nangarhar University and local traders.
The delegation is expected to hold meetings with Mullah Mohammad Naeem Akhund and business leaders in the province to discuss strengthening trade relations, encouraging investment, and enhancing bilateral economic cooperation.
Officials said the visit is expected to have a positive impact on expanding economic ties between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, as well as boosting regional trade.
