3,300 kilograms of ephedra seized in Uruzgan

KABUL: The counter-narcotics police personnel of the Ministry of Interior Affairs have discovered and seized 3,300 kilograms of Ephedra in Uruzgan province.
According to a statement from the ministry, during an operation 3,300 kgs of Ephedra, 50 kgs of materials used for narcotics, and 20 liters of acid were discovered and seized in Chahar Chino district of Uruzgan province.
The statement did not said weather anyone arrested in connection with the case.
After the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate, the use, sale, cultivation, and smuggling of drugs have been banned across the country.
