KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump has said that Iran still retains approximately 21% to 22% of its missile stockpile despite recent military strikes.
Trump stressed that a significant portion of Iran’s military capabilities has been degraded as a result of the recent attacks.
In an interview with NBC News, Trump said that many of Iran’s drone manufacturing facilities, missile launch systems, and production centers had been destroyed. However, he noted that Tehran still maintains the capability to produce and deploy missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.
He also stated that Iranian leaders have not yet reached an agreement with the United States to bring the conflict to an end.
“They have no choice but to reach an agreement,” Trump said, adding that the process could still take more time.
