Applications open for Afghanistan’s Air Force and Air Defense University

KABUL: Afghanistan’s Ministry of National Defense has announced the start of admissions for the Air Force and Air Defense University for the current academic year, inviting applications from high school graduates and graduates of the Hazrat Saeed bin Abi Waqas Military School.

According to a ministry statement, applicants will be admitted to various academic and military programs.

Candidates must be between 18 and 24 years old, unmarried, in good health, and must not be addicted to narcotics or have been convicted of criminal or political offenses.

The statement added that graduates of vocational schools must have their documents certified by their respective provincial education departments, while graduates of the Hazrat Saeed bin Abi Waqas Military School must obtain certification from the school itself.

Applicants can visit recruitment and enlistment offices in their respective provinces from the 5th to the 30th of Jawza (May–June) with four passport-sized photographs and their original national identity card (Tazkira) to obtain entrance examination registration forms.
