KABUL: The International Human Rights Foundation(IHRF) has condemned Pakistan’s military strikes on Afghanistan, calling them as “war crimes” under international law.
In a statement posted on X, the organization said that targeting civilian homes constitutes a war crime under international humanitarian law and called on the United Nations Human Rights Council and the International Criminal Court to investigate the incidents.
According to the foundation, Pakistani military operations on Afghan territory have, on several occasions, resulted in civilian casualties and contributed to the displacement of Afghan residents.
The organization urged international bodies to examine the reported attacks and assess their impact on civilians in accordance with international legal standards.
