KABUL: The security personnel of Kabul’s 13th Police District have arrested an alleged gang of professional thieves during a security operation.
According to Shamsullah Hamad, head of the 13th police district, eight suspects were detained on suspicion of carrying out thefts in various parts of the district.
Hamad said security personnel also seized two firearms and a number of reportedly stolen items during the operation.
Authorities stated that further investigations are underway and that legal procedures related to the suspects’ cases are continuing.
