KABUL: The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) says Sweden has provided $2.99 million in assistance to Afghanistan’s humanitarian fund.
OCHA expressed gratitude to Sweden, noting that the amount of 28 million Swedish kronor (some 2.99 million U.S. dollars) will be used to help prevent humanitarian crises.
Sweden has previously also contributed millions of dollars to Afghanistan’s humanitarian fund.
