KABUL: Spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, Mufti Abdul Mateen Qani, says that from now on, no license plates will be issued to right-hand drive vehicles, commonly referred to as “Pakistan-hand” vehicles.
According to him, even those right-hand drive vehicles that had previously been permitted to operate in Kabul will be removed from the capital.
He added that discussions are ongoing among several government institutions regarding the possible change of right-hand drive vehicles to left-hand drive, but no final decision has yet been made, and the plan has not been implemented.
