KABUL: Chaired by the Minister of Interior Affairs, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, a meeting of the ministry leadership was held to discuss a range of administrative and security-related issues.
According to a statement from the ministry, the meeting emphasized the implementation of the newly approved Interior Ministry law endorsed by the leadership of the Islamic Emirate, as well as the adoption of security measures to ensure public safety during the month of Muharram.
The statement added that Haqqani advised security forces to earn public trust through sincere and effective service to citizens.
The Interior Minister also stressed the importance of providing technical equipment and resources to the Criminal Investigation Department and enhancing the professional capacity of its personnel.
