KABUL: Minister of Interior Affairs Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani held talks with Dr. Mirdif Al-Qashouti, Qatar’s Ambassador to Kabul.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Interior Affairs, the two sides discussed the expansion of bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Qatar, regional developments, and efforts to strengthen Afghanistan’s engagement with the international community.
Sirajuddin Haqqani praised Qatar’s role in facilitating international engagement and thanked the country for its continued cooperation and support.
The Ministry of Interior added that the two sides also exchanged views on enhancing security cooperation and combating narcotics trafficking.
