Iran-Afghanistan Joint Chamber of Commerce delegation arrives in Kabul

KABUL: A delegation from the Iran-Afghanistan Joint Chamber of Commerce has arrived in Kabul with the aim of expanding economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

The delegation is visiting Afghanistan to participate in the Fifth Afghanistan Industry and Mining Week Exhibition, hold specialized meetings, and conduct business-to-business (B2B) negotiations as part of efforts to strengthen private sector cooperation between Iran and Afghanistan.

According to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul, the visit is intended to expand economic relations, create new opportunities for trade and industrial cooperation, and enhance engagement between business communities in both countries.

The delegation’s agenda includes participation in the exhibition, specialized meetings with Afghan officials and business representatives, and direct discussions between companies and traders from the two countries. These engagements are expected to contribute to increased trade exchanges, expanded joint investment opportunities, and stronger private sector partnerships between Iran and Afghanistan.

Economic experts believe that such meetings and exhibitions play an important role in identifying economic opportunities, addressing barriers to cooperation, and promoting stronger commercial ties between Iran and Afghanistan.
