Defense Minister Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid visits border battalion in Badakhshan’s

KABUL: The Defense Minister Mawlavi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, during his visit to Badakhshan province, visited the First Battalion of the 15th Border Brigade in Ishkashim district of the province.
According to a statement issued by the ministry, the defense minister reviewed the performance and operational readiness of the forces stationed at the battalion and met with military personnel on the ground.
During his visit, Mawlavi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid encouraged the troops and emphasized the importance of increasing their efforts, maintaining a high level of preparedness, and ensuring the protection and defense of the country’s borders.
