KABUL: Former Afghanistan national cricket team player Shapoor Zadran has passed away after an illness, according to media reports.
The news has also been shared by several former Afghanistan national team players, but his brother, Ghami Zadran, has not yet commented publicly on the reports.
Shapoor Zadran was one of Afghanistan’s most prominent fast bowlers and played a key role for the national team in international competitions. He was widely regarded as one of the influential figures during the formative years of Afghanistan’s rise in international cricket.
