KABUL: U.S. President Donald Trump has warned Iran that any attempt to assassinate him would trigger major military strikes against the country.
In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump said the U.S. military is fully prepared to respond to any potential threat and would launch large-scale military operations against Iran if necessary.
The remarks came after reports emerged about an alleged possible plot targeting Trump.
Iranian officials, however, have rejected the allegations, describing claims related to a potential assassination attempt against Trump as baseless.
