KABUL: Tabita Bogua, Head of UNAMA’s Central Region Office, and her accompanying delegation met with Kabul Governor Mullah Aminullah Obaid to discuss the challenges, needs, and development priorities of Kabul city and its districts.
During the meeting, the Kabul governor emphasized the importance of effective cooperation and coordination between UNAMA, sectoral institutions, and the provincial administration to address the essential needs of residents, according to a statement from the Kabul governor’s press office.
He said closer collaboration would help ensure the delivery of fair, effective, and transparent public services.
According to the statement, Bogua reaffirmed UNAMA’s commitment to continuing its assistance based on the actual needs of the Afghan people.
She also said the concerns and priorities of Kabul’s provincial authorities and residents would be shared with UNAMA’s senior leadership, adding that transparency and support for those most in need would remain the organization’s guiding principles.
