KABUL: The Ministry of Interior has said that an eight-member theft gang was detained by the Herat police forces in the 3rd Police District of the province.
According to the ministry, the suspects used rickshaws to target passengers, stealing cash and other valuable belongings.
The group allegedly lured victims into their rickshaws before working together to deceive them and steal their money and personal property.
Members of this gang would take passengers into rickshaws and then, working together to deceive them and steal their money and personal property.
The ministry said the suspects have confessed to the charges against them, and their cases have been referred to the relevant judicial authorities for legal proceedings.
