KABUL: The personnel of the 201st Khalid bin Walid Army Corps have seized a quantity of ammunition and military equipment in the Waziro Tangi area of Khogyani district.
According to a statement issued by the corps, the ammunition and military equipment were being illegally smuggled into Pakistan but were intercepted during a security operation carried out by Afghan forces.
The statement added that the Ministry of Defense’s forces have previously prevented similar attempts to smuggle ammunition and military equipment into Pakistan along the disputed border.
