India: Kabul–Delhi air corridor remains operational

KABUL: India’s Ministry of External Affairs has announced that the Kabul–Delhi air corridor remains fully operational, ensuring the uninterrupted movement of commercial goods between Afghanistan and India.
Randhir Jaiswal, spokesperson for the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, said that Afghanistan’s Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, Mawlavi Ataullah Omari, discussed expanding trade and agricultural cooperation during his recent visit to India.
According to Jaiswal, Omari also held meetings with India’s Minister of Agriculture, Minister of Food Processing Industries, and a senior official from the Ministry of External Affairs.
This comes as India has sought in recent months to preserve its trade ties with Afghanistan by utilizing alternative trade routes.
