KABUL: Alireza Bigdeli, Iran’s acting ambassador in Kabul, met with Mullah Abdullah Haji Bashir, Director General of Afghanistan’s Standards and Quality Authority (ASQA), to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation and expanding technical engagement.
According to a statement issued by the authority, the two sides emphasized the importance of adhering to standards, improving the quality of goods, and enhancing trade relations between Afghanistan and Iran.
The authority added that the Iranian envoy invited Mullah Bashir to visit Iran and tour the country’s quality standards and regulatory institutions.
