Foreign Ministry to launch document authentication services in 10 districts

KABUL: The country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that it will begin providing document authentication services in 10 districts across the country starting July 23, 2026 (1 Asad 1405), in an effort to improve public access to consular services.

According to Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, the ministry’s Director of Public Relations, the services will be available in Surobi and Qara Bagh districts of Kabul, Spin Boldak in Kandahar, Shindand in Herat, Kaldar/Hairatan in Balkh, Mohmand Dara/Torkham in Nangarhar, Gereshk in Helmand, Imam Sahib in Kunduz, Jaghori in Ghazni, and Chamkani in Paktia.

The ministry stated that citizens can submit their required documents to the Ministry or its relevant provincial departments through the branches of the Emirati Afghan Post Company in the aforementioned districts, allowing for a more efficient and quicker completion of the document authentication and consular services process.
