KABUL: The Iranian Embassy in Kabul has expressed its deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the recent flash floods that struck Parun, the capital of Nuristan Province, and other affected areas.
In a statement, the embassy extended its sympathies to the families of the victims, wished the injured a speedy recovery, and expressed solidarity with all those affected by the natural disaster.
The statement comes after the deadly floods in Nuristan left dozens of people dead or injured, while a number of others remain missing, according to official reports.
