KABUL: One person was killed and 16 others were injured after a driver rammed a vehicle into a gathering of LGBTQ+ participants in the German capital, Berlin, on Friday night.
According to Reuters, eight of the injured are in critical condition. Berlin police said they have identified the suspect and are conducting a search operation to apprehend the individual.
In recent years, Europe has witnessed several similar incidents in which vehicles were driven into crowds, with some cases being investigated as deliberate attacks.
