KABUL: Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat, Deputy Spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, says the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate received the Minister of Higher Education, his deputies, central directors, and the heads of public and religious universities and provided them with guidance on higher education and university affairs.
According to Fitrat, the Islamic Emirate Leader emphasized the responsibilities of religious scholars, stating that scholars have a significant duty to safeguard the religion, reform society, and contribute to improving the community’s condition.
He called on religious scholars and officials of the Islamic Emirate to focus on obedience, unity, and solidarity in order to strengthen the system and to serve as role models for the public through their conduct.
University officials were also instructed to pay serious attention to students, who were described as the country’s future administrative and professional cadres, by strengthening their religious knowledge, professional skills, and overall education and training.
According to the report, after officials presented a report on the activities and achievements of the Ministry of Higher Education, participants also renewed their allegiance to the Islamic Emirate’s leadership and pledged to work toward strengthening and consolidating the system.
