KABUL: Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, has called the establishment of a laboratory in Herat to test the quality of food, medicines, and health products an important step toward improving the quality of domestic products.
According to Radio Omid correspondent, speaking at the ceremony Mullah Baradar said that the laboratory would provide facilities for testing and standardizing locally produced goods and help strengthen the competitiveness of Afghan products in international markets.
He also emphasized that the establishment of the facility would play an important role in preventing substandard products from entering domestic markets and supporting local producers.
