Nearly 250 Afghan defense personnel complete four-month training courses

KABUL: The Abdullah bin Masoud Joint Military Training Command said in a statement that 246 personnel from Afghanistan’s central units and regional army corps have completed four-month theoretical and practical training courses.
According to the statement, the personnel completed training in mortar operations, SPG-9, M-24 sniper shooting, marksmanship, terrain reconnaissance, M2 machine guns, military academy training, infantry, and artillery.
At the graduation ceremony, officials urged the graduates to avoid discrimination and division and to work for the country’s stability and development while maintaining a spirit of unity and brotherhood.
Officials also emphasized responsibility, adherence to professional standards, and the effective use of the knowledge and skills acquired during the training in carrying out their duties.
