KABUL: A delegation from the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment has held talks with officials from Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture on expanding economic cooperation, joint investments and trade relations between the two countries.
According to a statement by the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, the meeting covered the development of trade and economic ties, investment opportunities and other issues of mutual interest.
The chamber said the private sectors of Afghanistan and Iran could expand joint cooperation in areas including mining, energy, infrastructure, transport, logistics and food processing.
