KABUL: Mawlavi Hizbullah Afghan, chief of staff of the security forces of Afghanistan’s Ministry of Interior, has met with a number of Shia religious scholars and Hazara tribal elders to discuss security, strengthening national unity and expanding cooperation.
During the meeting, the religious scholars and community elders praised the efforts of the security forces and called their role in maintaining the country’s security, peace, and stability essential.
They also emphasized the need for greater cooperation and coordination between local communities and security forces to strengthen security and stability.
Mawlavi Hizbullah Afghan stressed the shared responsibility of all citizens for Afghanistan’s security and development and assured participants of continued cooperation.
He said that all Afghans are members of one family and that maintaining security, stability and progress in the country is a shared responsibility of all citizens.
The meeting comes as national unity and cooperation among Afghanistan’s different communities and security institutions remain key issues in efforts to strengthen stability and security.
