KABUL: The Afghanistan Cricket Board has announced that three teams in the Afghanistan Premier League (APL) have been sold, with agreements signed with their new owners.
According to the board, the tournament’s trophy, “Koh-e-Zafar” (Mountain of Victory), was also unveiled during a ceremony held to mark the development.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board added that the process of selecting owners for the remaining two teams is expected to be completed soon.
