KABUL: Shaikh Anwar-ul-Haq Anwar, director general of the Administrative Affairs Office, said efforts are underway to identify administrative areas where people face difficulties and find solutions to improve the delivery of government services.
He made the remarks during a conference at the Government Media and Information Center to introduce 928 simplified administrative processes.
According to Radio Omid, Anwar said simplifying administrative procedures has created greater convenience for people at various government institutions, while efforts are continuing to make public services faster and easier to access.
Anwar said administrative procedures at numerous government institutions have been simplified over the past four years and processes that previously took months to complete can now be finalized within a few days, he added.
The director general said new measures are also being taken to simplify administrative procedures at other government institutions, with experienced specialists and qualified personnel being involved in the process.
He stressed that simplifying administrative procedures is an important step toward making it easier for people to access government services, speeding up service delivery and preventing administrative corruption.
