KABUL: The General Directorate of State-Owned Corporations says 151 foreign tourists visited Badakhshan province during the second quarter of the solar year 1405.
In a post on its X account, the directorate said the tourists visited a number of the province’s tourist attractions, historical and archaeological sites, natural landscapes and well-known tourism destinations.
The visits were aimed at giving foreign tourists an opportunity to become more familiar with Badakhshan’s historical, cultural and natural attractions.
The General Directorate of State-Owned Corporations added that the state-owned Afghan Tour company is providing the necessary facilities for foreign tourists and working to promote the growth of tourism and provide standardized tourism services in the country.
