KABUL: The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has launched a €5 million project to support farmers and agricultural traders in Afghanistan.
The project is funded by the European Union and aims to improve farmers’ access to markets, increase their incomes and strengthen agricultural activities across the country.
According to FAO, the project will also help expand employment and income-generating opportunities in rural areas.
