KABUL: The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation and the International Rescue Committee (IRC) have signed a cooperation agreement worth $700,000 to support Afghan returnees.
The agreement was signed during a ceremony attended by the ministry’s head of Institutional Coordination and representatives of the International Rescue Committee.
Under the agreement, $700,000 will be allocated to provide cash assistance to 2,844 returnee families in Herat province.
Officials from the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation and the International Rescue Committee emphasized the continuation and expansion of joint cooperation and the provision of better services to returnee families.
