KABUL: The Sindh High Court in Pakistan has postponed the implementation of a decision by the country’s medical council concerning the expulsion of Afghan students from Pakistani universities until its next hearing.
Pakistani media reported that the next hearing is scheduled for September 29.
The decision came after three Afghan students challenged the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council’s decision before the Sindh High Court.
The students are studying at Dow University of Health Sciences in Pakistan under Allama Iqbal scholarships and hold valid Pakistani student visas.
