KABUL: Minister of Higher Education, Shaikh Neda Mohammad Nadeem, said research and scientific inquiry can play an important role in addressing challenges and promoting development in society.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Barm Research and Innovation Center in Kabul, he said there had been limited opportunities for research in the past, but that greater opportunities are now available.
Shaikh Nadeem called for scientific research to be conducted in areas where it is needed, according to a report by Omid Radio.
Nadeem also said that since the Islamic Emirate came to power, greater attention has been paid to practical education alongside theoretical studies at universities, with the aim of creating more opportunities for students to conduct research and pursue scientific inquiry.
