Seven Afghan migrants lost lives, nine wounded in traffic accident in Iran

KABUL: At least seven Afghan migrants have lost their lives and nine others injured in a traffic accident in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province, according to the human rights organization Haalvsh.

The organization reported that the incident occurred on Friday on the Iranshahr–Jakigur highway when a vehicle carrying Afghan migrants collided with a vehicle transporting petroleum products.

Seven Afghan migrants lost their lives, and nine others were injured in the crash, according to the report.

No further information has so far been released about the identities of those killed or injured.
