KABUL: The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment (ACCI) says its chairman, Sayed Karim Hashemi, and Jeffrey Greco, chairman of the Afghan-American Chamber of Commerce (AACC), held an online meeting and signed a cooperation agreement.
According to a statement, the agreement aims to promote trade and investment, support private-sector development, and strengthen business ties and cooperation between the two chambers.
During the meeting, Greco said the Afghan-American Chamber of Commerce would participate in the fifth Imam Abu Hanifa National and International Exhibition alongside a number of U.S. businessmen.
The ACCI described the agreement as an important step toward strengthening trade and economic relations between the private sectors of Afghanistan and the United States.
