KABUL: Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev has said Afghanistan has the potential to become an important regional connectivity hub by expanding cooperation in trade, transit and energy.
Rafiyev made the remarks during a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s Contact Group on Afghanistan, held on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
He also expressed support for the efforts of the OIC Contact Group on Afghanistan.
