KABUL: Norway has contributed $2.6 million to the United Nations’ special fund for Afghanistan.
The fund welcomed Norway’s contribution, saying the country’s continued support strengthens the UN’s joint efforts for Afghanistan and helps provide greater assistance to Afghan communities.
The UN special fund for Afghanistan mobilizes financial contributions from countries and donor organizations to help address humanitarian needs and support vulnerable Afghans.
