KABUL: Ariana Afghan Airlines has announced that it has ended the monopoly of Pakistani company “Zapways” over its ticketing, operational systems and website.
In a statement, Ariana said its previous systems had been under the company’s control for about 15 years.
The Afghan airline said it has now developed a new, modern and standardized system and website at a lower cost.
According to Ariana Afghan Airlines, the move aims to increase the independence of its online systems, strengthen its technical capabilities and improve the quality of services provided to passengers and travel companies.
