KABUL: Afghanistan is on a path of development in the fields of industry, trade and investment, with conditions being created for the expansion of economic activities in the country, Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi said.
Speaking at the opening of the fifth Imam Abu Hanifa National and International Exhibition, Aziz said the participation of 113 foreign companies in the exhibition was a significant achievement for Afghanistan, according to a Radio Omid correspondent.
He added that continued cooperation between the government and the private sector could help Afghanistan achieve economic self-sufficiency in various areas.
The minister stressed that the government supports the private sector and is working to create more favorable conditions for the further development of industry, trade and investment.
