KABUL: Officials of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum has held talks with representatives of Russian company JSC AM Survey on surveying and exploring Afghanistan’s mineral reserves and investment opportunities in the sector.
Mufti Abdul Matin Saeed, the Ministry’s Deputy Minister for Survey and Geology, and representatives of the company discussed the implementation of field activities, coordination among relevant institutions, and potential areas of cooperation.
Saeed stressed that mineral surveying and exploration should be conducted based on professional standards, accurate geological data, and the country’s applicable laws.
