KABUL: Security forces in Ghazni province have seized 252 kilograms of opium from a tanker truck, the provincial police command said.
According to the police, the drugs were skillfully placed inside the tanker in the Rawza Kotal area, within the jurisdiction of the First Security District of Ghazni city.
The shipment was reportedly being transported from Badakhshan province to Helmand.
One person has been arrested in connection with the incident, the source added.
