KABUL: The Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement that the security forces in Herat have arrested a 14-member gang accused of carrying out thefts in various parts of the city, disturbing public order, and dealing in stolen goods.
According to the statement, the suspects were arrested following intelligence operations conducted by police from Herat’s Fifth Security District.
Herat officials said security forces would take firm action against individuals and groups that threaten public safety, disrupt public order, or undermine residents’ peace and security.
