Rezaei: Iran may reconsider NPT membership if U.S. launches new war

KABUL: Mohsen Rezaei, head of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, says Tehran has not yet made any new decision to change its nuclear policy.

Speaking to Iranian media, Rezaei said Iran would not be willing to negotiate if its conditions were not accepted.

He warned that if the United States launches another war against Iran, Tehran could consider withdrawing from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).

Rezaei also said representatives of Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Pakistan expressed concern over Israeli threats against their countries during a four-way meeting in Tehran.
