HERAT: Herat Governor Shaikh Maulana Islamjar has met with a delegation led by Rasoul Mohajer, the Iranian Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the province’s governor press office said in a statement today.
According to the statement, the meeting focused on expanding trade relations between the two countries.
Governor Islamjar welcomed the Iranian delegation and praised the efforts to enhance trade and economic ties between Afghanistan and Iran.
He also emphasized the need for increased cooperation, facilitating trade activities, maximizing benefits from railway routes, addressing transportation issues, and resolving visa challenges for refugees.
