HERAT: A new shipment of foodstuffs has arrived in the country through the Khaf-Herat railway, the Herat governor’s press office said in a statement today.
The shipment, consisting of 13 wagons, included soybeans and had recently reached Herat, said the statement.
The office described the Khaf-Herat railway as a “vital artery” for the country, noting that hundreds of food and non-food items are imported daily through this railway.
Recently, attention has been increased to exports and imports via railway.
