U.S. Backtracks on Economic Disputes; exempts 125% tariffs on Chinese phones and computers

KABUL: The United States has waived 125% tariffs on imports of smartphones, computers, and some electronic equipment from China.

An official from the White House stated that this exemption applies only to the retaliatory tariffs imposed during the Trump administration.

This tariff exemption comes at a time when China recently increased its tariffs on American goods to 125%.
