Import of three low-quality tomato and pepper trucks from Pakistan prevented

KHOST: The Plant Quarantine Management of the Ghulam Khan border prevented the import of a large quantity of low-quality and spoiled tomatoes and peppers, from Pakistan, the Khost governor’s press office said in a statement.

The provincial officials of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Department of Khost, stated that the low-quality and spoiled products were being imported into Afghanistan in three truckloads from Pakistan and were confiscated after thorough inspection.

Authorities have urged all traders to import quality products and stated that no trader will be allowed to bring low-quality goods into the country.
