Naryshkin: Western countries fueling instability in Afghanistan

KABUL: Sergey Naryshkin, head of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, criticized Western nations for freezing the assets of Afghanistan’s central bank during a meeting in Baku on April 17-18 regarding Afghanistan.

He called Afghanistan as a geopolitically important location and emphasized the need for support in its reconstruction.

Naryshkin also stated that Western countries are supporting opponents of the existing Islamic system in Afghanistan, contributing to instability.

Also, he highlighted the necessity of preventing foreign interference that harms the country.
