MAIDANSHAR: At least three people have been killed and three others wounded as a result of a traffic accident in the country’s central province of Maidan Wardak, said local officials.
The accident took place on the outskirts of Aziz Qala area of Sayed Abad district of the province.
According to the local officials, the accident occurred following a collision between a speeding passenger car and a “580” passenger bus.
The victims were evacuated to the hospital.
Traffic incidents on the country’s highways have occasionally claimed the lives of people as victims.
